"Zindagi me dost nahi, Dosto me zindagi hai..

I was a child: I was born poor

This story begins when I was a child: I was born poor.
Often we hadn’t enough to eat.
Whenever we had some food, Mother often gave me her portion
of rice.

While she was transferring her rice into my bowl, she would say “Eat this
rice, son! I’m not hungry.” This was Mother’s First Lie. As I grew, Mother
gave up her spare time to fish in a river near our house; she hoped that
from the fish she caught, she could give me a little bit more nutritious
food for my growth. Once she had caught just two fish, she would make fish
soup.

While I was eating the soup, mother would sit beside me and eat what was
still left on the bone of the fish I had eaten; my heart was touched when I
saw it. Once I gave the other fish to her on my chopstick but she
immediately refused it and said, “Eat this fish, son! I don’t really like
fish.” This was Mother’s Second Lie.

Then, in order to fund my education, Mother went to a Match Factory to bring
home some used matchboxes, which she filled with fresh matchsticks. This
helped her get some money to cover our needs. One wintry night I awoke to
find Mother filling the matchboxes by candlelight. So I said, “Mother, go to
sleep; it’s late: you can continue working tomorrow morning.” Mother smiled
and said “Go to sleep, son! I’m not tired.” This was Mother’s Third Lie.

When I had to sit my Final Examination, Mother accompanied me. After dawn,
Mother waited for me for hours in the heat of the sun. When the bell rang, I
ran to meet her. Mother embraced me and poured me a glass of tea that she
had prepared in a thermos. The tea was not as strong as my Mother’s love,
Seeing Mother covered with perspiration; I at once gave her my glass and
asked her to drink too. Mother said “Drink, son! I’m not thirsty!” This was
Mother’s Fourth Lie.

After Father’s death, Mother had to play the role of a single parent. She
held on to her former job; she had to fund our needs alone. Our family’s
life was more complicated. We suffered from starvation. Seeing our family’s
condition worsening, my kind Uncle who lived near my house came to help us
solve our problems big and small. Our other neighbors saw that we were
poverty stricken so they often advised my mother to marry again. But Mother
refused to remarry saying “I don’t need love.” This was Mother’s Fifth Lie.

After I had finished my studies and gotten a job, it was time for my old
Mother to retire but she carried on going to the market every morning just
to sell a few vegetables. I kept sending her money but she was steadfast and
even sent the money back to me. She said, “I have enough money.” That was
Mother’s Sixth Lie.

I continued my part-time studies for my Master’s Degree. Funded by the
American Corporation for which I worked, I succeeded in my studies. With a
big jump in my salary, I decided to bring Mother to enjoy life in America
but Mother didn’t want to bother her son; she said to me “I’m not used to
high living.” That was Mother’s Seventh Lie.

In her dotage, Mother was attacked by cancer and had to be hospitalized. Now
living far across the ocean, I went home to visit Mother who was bedridden
after an operation. Mother tried to smile but I was heartbroken because she
was so thin and feeble but Mother said, “Don’t cry, son! I’m not in pain.”
That was Mother’s Eighth Lie. Telling me this, her eighth lie, she died.
YES, MOTHER WAS AN ANGEL!

*M – O – T – H – E – R *

*“M”* is for the Million things she gave me,

*“O”* means Only that she’s growing old,

*“T”* is for the Tears she shed to save me,

*“H”* is for her Heart of gold,

*“E”* is for her Eyes with love-light shining in them,

*“R”* means Right, and right she’ll always be.

Put them together, they spell* **“MOTHER”* a word that means the world to
me.

For those of you who are lucky to be still blessed with your Mom’s presence
on Earth, this story is beautiful. For those who aren’t so blessed, this is
even more beautiful.

God does exist

K.B.S
A man went to a barber shop to have his hair and his beard
trimmed as always.
He started to have a good conversation with the
barber that attended him.
They talked about many things and various
subjects.
Suddenly, they touched on the subject of God.
The barber said: “Look man, I don’t believe that God exists as you say.”
“Why do you say that?” asked his client.
“Well, it’s so easy, you just have to go out in the street to realize
that God does not exist.

Tell me, if God existed, would there be
so many sick people?

Would there be abandoned children?
If God existed,
there would be no suffering nor pain.
I can’t think of loving
a God who permits all of these things.”
The client stopped for a moment, thinking, but he didn’t want to
respond so as to cause an argument.

The barber finished his job and
the client went out of the shop.
Just after he left the barber shop he saw a man in the street
with shaggy,

long hair and a beard (it seems that it had been a long
time since he had his cut, and he looked so untidy).

Then the client
again entered the barber shop and

he said to the barber: “You know
what? I think barbers do not exist.”
“How can you say they don’t exist?” asked the barber. “I am a barber
and here I am.”
“No!” the client exclaimed.

“They don’t exist; if they did there would
be no people with shaggy, long hair and beards like that man who
walks in the street.”
“Ah, barbers do exist,” said the barber. “What happens is that people
do not come to me.”
“Exactly!” affirmed the client. “That’s the point.

God does exist.
What happens is people don’t go to Him and do not look for Him. That’s
why there’s so much pain and suffering in the world.

♥ I love u Dad ♥

At your age of 1,
he would have lost his sleep
to take care of you... When you are 10,
he would havelost his
favorite perfume to pay your
school fees.. At 18,
he would have lost all his
savings to give you
graduation.. At your 22,
he would have lost his
respect to get you a job.
To keep you rich,
he would have not even
purchased clothes for himself.. To make you lead a luxurious
life,
he would have not even
taken care of
his health.. He is the one who sheds his
personal interests for your
prosperous life.. Salute your dad for his
sacrifice...

A Worried Woman

A worried woman went to her gynecologist and
said:
'Doctor, I have a serious problem and desperately
need your help!
My baby is not even 1 year old and
I'm pregnant again.
I don't want kids so close
together.'
So the doctor said:
'Ok and what do you want me to
do?'

She said: 'I want you to end my pregnancy, and I'm
counting on your help with this.'

The doctor thought for a little,
and after some silence
he said to the lady: 'I think I have a better
solution for your problem.
It's less dangerous for
you too.'

She smiled, thinking that the doctor was going to
accept her request. Then he continued: '

You see, in order for you not to
have to take care of 2 babies at the same time, let's
kill the one in your arms. This way, you could rest
some before the other one is born. If we're going to
kill one of them, it doesn't matter which one it is.
There would be no risk for your body if you chose the one in your arms.'

The lady was horrified and said: 'No doctor! How
terrible! It's a crime to kill a child!' 'I agree', the doctor replied.

'But you seemed to be
OK with it, so I thought maybe that was the best
solution.'

The doctor smiled, realizing that he had made his point.
He convinced the mom that there is no difference in
killing a child that's already been born and one
that's still in the womb.

The crime is the same! If you agree, please SHARE.

Together we can help save precious lives! Love says, 'I sacrifice myself for the good of the
other person.' Abortion says, 'I sacrifice the other
person for the good of myself.'
